  • 3 ripe bananas ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chocolate chips or nuts to the batter.
