- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix mashed bananas, sugar, oil, and eggs until well combined. Add flour and baking soda, then stir until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- While the bars cool, brown the butter in a saucepan until golden and fragrant. Remove from heat.
- Mix browned butter with powdered sugar and vanilla to make frosting. Spread over cooled bars.
Notes
For best results, use very ripe bananas for natural sweetness.
