Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch cake pan.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. In another bowl, combine mashed bananas, oil, and eggs.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool.
- Beat cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread over cooled cake.
Notes
For a richer frosting, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
