Method
- Brown the butter in a saucepan until golden and fragrant, then let it cool slightly.
- Mix mashed bananas, browned butter, sugar, and eggs until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Notes
For extra flavor, toast the chocolate chips before folding into the batter.
