Ingredients
  

Dried and fresh ingredients
  • 3 ripe bananas bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter for browning
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Brown the butter in a saucepan until golden and fragrant, then let it cool slightly.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, browned butter, sugar, and eggs until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

Notes

For extra flavor, toast the chocolate chips before folding into the batter.
