Easy Banana Pudding

A quick and delicious dessert combining creamy pudding, fresh bananas, and vanilla wafers for a crowd-pleasing treat.

Ingredients
  

Dairy and pudding
  • 5 oz box instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
Topping and fruit
  • 8 oz whipped topping (thawed, divided)
  • 4 large bananas diced into 1/2" slices
  • 12 oz box vanilla wafers

Method
 

  1. Whisk pudding mix, milk, and condensed milk until smooth, then stir in vanilla. Chill for 30 minutes.
  2. Fold half of the whipped topping into the chilled pudding.
  3. Slice bananas into 1/2" pieces and set aside.
  4. Layer wafers, bananas, and pudding in a dish, repeating for 3 layers, ending with pudding.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Top with remaining whipped topping and extra garnishes.

Notes

For best results, prepare the pudding a day ahead to allow flavors to meld.
