Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed bananas
  • 0.75 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cinnamon Swirl
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. In another bowl, combine mashed bananas, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the pan, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, then top with remaining batter. Swirl with a knife.
  5. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool before slicing.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
