Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Banana filling
  • 2 ripe bananas mashed bananas
  • 1 cup vanilla wafers, crushed

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Fold in mashed bananas and crushed vanilla wafers.
  4. Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheets and bake for 10 minutes.
  5. Allow cookies to cool before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add a handful of chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
